I would say your foot is most of the problem jk but I have the x with stock rubi rims and tires I have a moderate foot and my mpg counter says 16 intown and 21.9 doing 60mph.

But I'm not to worried about my mpg anymore

Sahara is getting 16s... I was never the primary driver on the Sahara, but it was 18s before whenever I was in it and checked the computer. Since I am not filling it up, this is all just based off the computer. Guess 18 to 16 is not really "much worse" now that I think about it.

The Rubi is getting basically 20 based off miles traveled / gallons added (I had a 19.8 last time I filled up). The sahara got 21 on the computer when I drove it for 2 weeks while my old car was getting work done.

I drive on the highway during the week, and (now that it is hunting season) I am onroad all weekend too.

I had the dealer switch the tires from one car to the other. I told the dealer I was going to have to do this before and after vacations - so I was hoping we could settle on a price - he did: free. I did not have to ask/argue/beg.

When I switched I noticed a bit firmer ride but the tires seemed to grip the road much better and it even felt like acceleration improved ever so slightly.

Oh man, the feel is totally different! It actually feels like the tires are stuck to the road or something... not sure how to describe it.

I had a sports car before my rubicon (need a backseat now). To be honest, I really like the feel of the sahara tires more. Down here, there is not a lot of need for the rubicon tires (I have to go north and west a little bit for that).
