I would begin by removing the tank. From there, it should be pretty obvious.

gotta tank the tank down, from there the pump is held in by a big ring that either unscrews or has to be turned a few degrees to clear the hold down tabs.

yah, with a drill, sawzall, cutoff tool and a grinder should do.
taking the tank off ain that bad, just make sure its almost empty cause getting the gas out aint that easy, there is a check valve that the hose will probably get stuck in.

That's actually a great question. A lot of Toyotas have an access panel under the carpet for the sending unit and fuel pump. It's a great concept....you know, make a vehicle that's actually EASY to service? Unfortunately, the Jeep doesn't have such brilliant innovation. Tank removal isn't tough though. Just remember, the skid plate bolts actually hold the tank in, too....so be ready for it to fall.

Notta clue. I would just GUESS 40-60 PSI.....but since I've been out of the loop for a while, it is what it is, only a guess. I would also GUESS that more than likely a pump from some other Jeep (perhaps even with a HEMI) could be a direct drop in replacement. I know with GM all through the eighties and nineties, a lot of that was done.

pressure is determined by the fuel pressure unit not the pump
