Question Strange steering sensation.

Recently I've noticed a strange sound or feeling when I turn the wheel at low speeds. It almost seems as though there's something rubbing; sort of a rubber on rubber sound. Is this something I should be concerned about, or am I imagining it?

Yes, it's in the engine compartment. It's very easy to see.

I looked at mine today, and it looks ok...I believe it's supposed to tick out like in the picture -- just not more than that.

just open the hood and you will see it mine has a metal bracket like in the pic because sometimes it slips a little down and i hear the engine noise (clicking sound) inside the jeep while driving so installed the bracket to make sure it doesn't move ..
