Default Stupid question

Ok, so first off. What axles come on a stock 2007 wrangler unlimited sahara? And I have been looking at the ARB air lockers and also the eaton e-locker. I won't be doing any rock crawling or anything like that. So what are the major advantages and disadvantages of both systems for someone will will only be doing mud, medium fording, and light trail running? Thanks guys!

Your Sahara should have a Dana 44 in the back and a Dana 30 In the front. The advantage of lockers is that they keep all wheels turning at the same rate. Air lockers will also require onboard air to engage them. E-lockers are done electrically.

Hope that helps. Good luck in your quest.

Some 07s came with front dana44, depending on the options.

I believe the Sahara comes stock with Dana 30 up front & a Dana 44 in the rear.

Both lockers will get the same job done, but I think the E-locker would be the aftermarket locker I would go for. Unless you are building some all out super Jeep or rock crawler, I just see the onboard air system for the ARB as a major hassle to install.

The E-locker would just need 12 volts from the battery. Much simpler.
