nothing, unclip the wiring from under the dash, and bolt the door, and pull up..

just make sure you put the strap back on...when you reinstall the door,,

I dont want you denting the cowl..

Be careful tightening the bolts on the hinges. I snapped one of mine right off with about 20 ft/lbs. or less.

Figured it was just a hassle. Next time I'll leave them off.

i lost the ones from my TJ ages ago. when i rolled her (RIP), i could pop my door, but not open it. a solid kick had the door hurling through the air, and my immediate egress to safety.
not having door-nuts is a safety feature. call your insurance

Yes you can. Then you have to find a place to safely store them.

I want to just re-itterate the fact that the last thing you do, is remove that strap from the hook, and then pull up on the door to remove. I had the strap off and a good gust of wind came...wheww that was close. Also, make sure you remove your rear floor mats, unless you want new ones.

Default wiring

I want the power doors / locks in my Rubicon JK..

but they did the power wires wrong for them... I shouldn't have to unclip crap.. it should make contact when the door is closed...

Just like the TJ tailgate, the brake light works when the doors shut, but if you took the tail gate off, no wires to unplug!

even mini vans use this kinda 'wiring' and there doors dont come off!

so what if the windows only go up / down with the door closed... chances are YOUR IN IT if u want to do that...

You can buy some contacts and splice them in on your doors to get the same effect. It would be nice if they would have done that from the factory though.
