for those wonder where the axle breathers are
Good advice. I'll have to add one on to my rear line. I brought it up through the rubber grommet behind the passenger tail light. Still looking for the Trans breather line if anyone knows where it is.
I have found the breather hose on the transfer case and can touch it and follow it to a certain point, but that is my weekend project, I want to find it, extend it and take pics of it, on my axles i am extending it with new line so it is a solid line from the breather all the way to the white cap, but the trans breather is a biotch! If I find the end, I am just hooking in with a double barb and clamps, as it would be way too hard to take off of the breather directly in those tight spaces. Tranmission breather anyone? anyone at all? Willl post pics monday of my triumphant conquering of trans case breather extension!
and sorry unclear from last post, i have found the transfer case end of the breather, and can follow it up to a point somewhere behind the transmission bellhousing, I just haven't found the end yet, that is what i m looking for, but the breather is there factory, just don't know how far yet.
I extended my breather tubes for my axles, here is link

This is a great thread, I was going to do the same thing but you beat me to it months in advance.
I found mine when I installed my lift as well. I will extend them eventually but right now they are fine where they are at. However they are stretched tight on a 4 inch lift.
