So he dropped the trans and said the TOB was squealing when he hand turned it so he is certain it was making the noise. He also saw the back I the flex plate was covered in oil so he is going to Change the rear main seal.

Not to hyjack but I'm doing a clutch in my bro-in-laws jk amd am having a really hard time with the very top bell housing bolt on the pass side. Have any of yall got a good way to get it out?

He said he removed the cross brace and actually tilted the engine down a bit to reach the bolt. He replaced the rear main seal while he was in there the new clutch stopped all tip in squeaking and the clutch squeaking when peddle pushe in....I did however notice the clutch peddle offers almost zero resistance now...but runs fine

Thanks man, that worked great. Doing a jk clutch on the garage floor sucks big a$$ if anyone is wondering, but its back together and is working perfect so I'm happy.
