Default Time for a new one?

Anyone regret getting rid of their JKU for a 2012?
Just rolled up on 10,000 miles on my 2010. Figure it might be worth something with so few miles on a 2 yr. old.

Good question. I didn't pay for any extra, or extended warranty. My salesman wasn't very knowledgeable at the time of sale. But then, this being my 4th jeep, he didn't need to be. Was extended powertrain warranty standard on 2010?

Actually, you got me thinking... The finance manager said "there's no point in an extended PT warranty... Your jeep has 5/60 on PT". So yeah, got that.

Probably is 5/100 then. It been 18 months or so since I bought it. I've slept since then. Guess I could always check my window sticker.

I have a 2009 which I believe was the last year for the lifetime powertrain warranty.

2009 was the last year for the factory lifetime power train warranty. Some dealerships offer "lifetime warranties" but might only be covered in house...read your documentation.

For 2010 on they moved to a 5 year / 100,000 mile power train warranty.

Of course there are many other extended warranty programs you can purchase outside of the original factory warranty.

Hey David,
I test drove a 2012 Wrangler. Wanted to trade in my 2010 Sahara with only 10K miles.
The dealership only wanted to give me $22,500 for my Wrangler. I then just walked out the door.
