Tire rotation tpms
I have read after a tire rotation has been done on a 2013 Jeep Rubicon that after driving for a few minutes the system automatically relearns the correct location for the senders. Is this correct or do you need to manually relearn the correct location with a tool?
You may have to drive over 15mph for up to 20 minutes to cycle through the readings but you don't need to do anything else.
The sensors shouldn't care what position they were in and where they are now, so long as a sensor is near the receiver to tell it what the pressure looks like.

But will they indicate the correct position on the vehicle after the rotation?
The EVIC system on the 2013 indicates the tire position and the pressure in the tire at that location. My 2010 only indicated a "low tire" but no position. The question is after a rotation does the system automatically recognize the correct location of each tire or does it have to be reprogrammed?

This is all you need to do, if anything. The system will know what position the sensor is in and correctly display that on your dash. Rotate.....drive.....have fun!
I can only speak for the '13s but in the read out there is a picture of the vehicle and it gives 4 separate pressure readings by tire. So it actually shows what the pressure is at each of the four locations specifically......
