Tires for 18"
I have a stock 2011 Sahara Unlimited and would like to get Duratracs. There are a few options to choose from for size and I would like to know what fits, performs, and looks good. I only see threads about 17's. Spacers are a possible add-on and front leveling kit also.
I am running 275/65R18 Duratracs on my Sahara. I've had them on for two years. Just this week ran over a sharp rock on an ungraded back road and tore a hole in the space between the lugs. Tire shop fixed it for free. The duratracs have been a great tire on and off road. I have over 45,000 km on them now.
To be honest, I wish I had gone with a smaller rim size, maybe 16's, and then 33" Duratracs. replacing them would be cheaper then. I am even consider steel rims now, because i have a bad dent in one of my rims and the tire is having trouble sealing on the bead. With the stock alloys, you can't really bang it straight.
Here's a pic of the tires on the jeep.
Edit: I am running no lift and no spacers. Only a tiny rub on the front sway bar when I go full lock to lock.

That works out to 34.6". Depending on actual width and height you might need to trim your fenders at full flex. Also you will need wheel spacers with the lift. Probably would need bumpstops too.
