Thumbs up 32" Tires on stock wheels

I just bought a X last weekend with the 16x7 steel wheels. I was able to get a deal on a set of 265/75/16 BFGs from the dealership and they're getting installed next weekend. The 265/75/16 size is about a 32" x 10.5" and according to the BFG website, they are designed to fit on a 7 to 8 inch wheel. My dealership said these should fit with no rubbing. When I got my Jeep, I thought about upgrading to a 17" wheel package. I decided to go with the 16" wheels because I saved about a grand and I have more sidewall than with 17s, which can help a little off road.

Well, I put the 285/75R16's on a set of 5 OEM alloys I got from ebay. I've wheeled it on rocks and mud with no problems, no rubbing. Just a bit more noise for the M/Ts.

I also added a 2.5" Teraflex lift.

Default Runicon Upgrade

I had the 16in steel wheels from factory and bought rubicon wheels and tires. There are no issues on mounting these. Bolt pattern is the same, not sure about backspace but again no problems here.

I did a thread with the same question. the conclusion was 33' with possible minor rubbing, depending on the tire
