Default Tiresss tiress tires

Hey I am trying to find different brands of tires with nice tread. Any input would help! I love the look of toyo open country and nitto trail grapplers. Any other brands that are good quality and nice tread?

I have Trail Grapplers myself and like them in general. In TX as well so not dealing with winter conditions at all. If you're not going to be offroading a lot, the Ridge Grappler is a nice looking hybrid tire....nice AT qualities with more of an MT appearance with a nice shoulder lug. I have a buddy with the Toyo Open Country on his.....they've worn really well, but he doesn't get off the pavement much at all. I think they've worn better than my grapplers, but my tires get beat on a decent bit. I'm probably one of the few that had some Yokohama Geolander MT's in the past.....meh. They've redesigned that tire now. I'm sure others will chime in with other brands. Seems like a lot of folks run Coopers.

I would look at the good year duratrac and the nitro ridge grapplers for a good all around tire. General grabber, fierce attitude, kelly safari are some others I would look at in the 35" size. If you have a 2 door you are defiantly want to look into your gearing because if you have 3.21 gears you may not like the performance of the 35's on the highway and changing gears is typically an expensive upgrade in the $1500 range.

check out the Mickey Thompsons they have a good balance of agressive look all around good performance. If I didn't get BFG KO2's that likely would have been my next option.

I've got 38,000 miles on my duratracs. They are holding up very nice. I really like them.

Fierce and depending on who you talk to they are Made by Dunlop, which is apparently a sibling company of Goodyear. That would explain why the tread pattern looks like a mud version of the Duratrac. I've had mine for over 50,000 miles and they are wearing great. I don't anticipate having to replace them for another 15,000 miles or so. They ride nice and aren't a super noisy mud tire. I prefer rock crawling type stuff versus mud and when aired down to 10-15 psi they handle the rocks very well and aren't damaged easily. The price has went up some since I bought mine and I paid $230'ish each, now I think they are around $280. If you go to the right store they will work with you on price, I went to a Goodyear store and they originally quoted me $285 a tire. When I laughed and started to walk out the manager stopped me and asked what I could get them online for, which was $225, he made some phone calls and I ended up paying about $5 more per tire just so they could get the business.

Anyway, Fierce has been a good tire for me and there are a lot of great reviews on them if you take the time to read up.

Nobody has mentioned Falken at3w I've been super happy with mine and extremely impressed in their performance in a mix of terrain both fully aired up and down... And you can't beat the price. I've got about 26k on mine and they are wearing great 285/70/17 rotated every 3-5k
