I tow with my 08 Sahara 2dr auto with 3.73 and tow package. I turn off o/d when it gear hunts or it's hilly but for flat highway it sometimes isn't necessary. I have a trans cooler though.

You don't necessarily need a trans cooler. By gear hunting I mean constantly shifting because it can't maintain speed in o/d. Since you don't have a trans cooler make sure your ac condenser is on (jks built in trans cooler cools off the ac) and prob turn off o/d.

Any time you can push the button. It's the button in front of your shifter right by park. It'll say od off on your dash. The paint rubbed off from my button but it's supposed to say od off right on the button.
