Hey I changed out my stock sport 16 steelies and tires about two months ago when they wore out. I put on some stock sahara wheels and tires that a buddy sold me. They were ok until I noticed the tore pressure light came on. They were just a tad low so I put some air in them. Now the tpms light just blinks at me. Any ideas?

I had to overfill mine to get the TPMS light off. Took them up to 38, drove around for a bit, light went out, then took them back down to 35.

Are the sensors still in the new wheels? Did he take them out when he swapped tires?

I'm not sure how do I tell? They worked fine for at least a few weeks with no light.

Don't forget to check the spare tire pressure. That makes the light come on also.

If the light blinks for about a minute then stays illuminated, that means there is a sensor that is not working or not there.

any (tire) shop worth its salt can ping each tire/sensor and tell you whats going on.

As a free estimate, I'd assume.
