So you liked the Drive by Wire in the Jeep better then the Nissan Drive by Wire?

You can still drive the auto like a stick and actually get better mpg's I have found. When I leave it in "D" for dummy I get by the digital 14.6 - 14.9 on average but when I shift it like a stick and control rpm's I get 15.3 - 15.9 on average. Not "much" better, but it is better. Love my auto and YES it could be bcuz Im too old and lazy to clutch it all day

But isnt that for the 3.8 engine.

I mean on 2012/2013 a stand-alone transmission cooler was added to keep the auto tranny cool on the Pentastar, so it might be sufficient or better after all the fire accidents

We are talking about how we hate the drive by wire on an MT. I had an MT Xterra and hated the drive by wire when shifting. Now I have an AT and drive by wire is not an issue on ATs.

I hat how people give their opinion without knowing the facts

Sorry, did I give one??? Thought I was Helping with info...Prob 90 % of people wouldn't know or guess our Gas pedals are Electronic......Guess Since Drive By Wire is the same in MT as in the AT and didn't see in this message of yours ( Before the JK I had an 06 Xterra with MT and hated the drive-by-wir....) you forgot to mention your JK was a Automatic, so your message looks as though you liked the JK Manual better....Guess we Hat when the Facts aren't the Facts as they read.
