I have had this 2018 JKU Sarah for 2 years and never towed anything with it. I got the build sheet on it and it has this , CUSTOMER PREFERRED PACKAGE 2TG.
From what I see online that package also includes a towing package. So I would think that the hitch on my Jeep is factory. I do not have a wiring harness anywhere that I can find on the back of the Jeep for trailer lights. Can someone tell me if I am correct in that the 2TG package includes the hitch and wiring harness?

 

I can't answer that question, but it is quite simple to add a wiring harness. Look for plug & play options. Will connect into your tail lights.

 

Yea, I know its an easy fix, just thought it odd that it has a trailer package and no plug.

 

My 2014 with towing package has the wiring plug just to the left of the hitch.

 

Not on mine. I did find a package list that shows the receiver and plug as an option with the 2TGpackage, so I guess they did not opt for that....

Oh well, 40 bucks and plug and play fix.
