Default Transfer Case Linkage broke?

Well, we had a nice day of wheelin' planned...about 15 minutes into it, something went wrong. Now, keep in mind that just over a week ago I had the TSB for the clutch disc performed...new clutch disc, meaning they had to pull the transmission. I was going down a really mild trail and stopped for a minute...started to go again, and realized I didn't need 4wd so I shifted back into 2wd. As I was shifting, the transfer case shifter went LOOSE. Apparently as I was shifting, something came loose or broke while it was shifting past the "neutral" position because it was stuck in neutral....would not move at all. I had to have my buddy tow me off of the trail to a local parking lot, and had roadside assistance come tow it to the dealership....and that's where it is now. I'm waiting to hear something, hoping they can get to it today and not Monday.

A buddy of mine here has an '05 LJ. Dump truck smashed it up and ever since his tcase linkage has been farked. He has to crawl underneath it to shift from 2wd to 4wd. Sucks.
