Default Trunk question

Hi everyone,

First post here. I ordered a 2-dr JK X, probably coming around New Year's. I had a custom twin-10" subwoofer built to squeeze into the trunk of my 2004 TJ. I was just wondering, does anyone know if the length/depth of the new 2-dr JK trunk is the same size or bigger?
Thanks!

Default Trunk

Does anyone actually have the measured dimensions of useable behind-the-seat space in the 2-dr JK?

Thanks!

I thought I read that it has 1" more space. Plus the extra width of the vehicle itself. I have a picture if that helps you. Not sure how to post it though.

Did you just call the rear cargo space a "trunk"? Sheesh.

I have a question regarding the "Rear Cargo Space".

All the Jeeps at our "local" dealership have the slate gray interior, and I'm not sure I've ever seen the khaki interior. For those with the Khaki interior, from what I can gather looking at all the interior photos in the Gallery, it appears that the colors are identical from behind the rear seat rearward in the Unlimited. Is this correct? All the Jeeps I've seen to date have very dark grey or black carpeting in the "Rear Cargo Space". Is it the same in the Khaki interior, or is it more of a dark khaki color??

I need to know before I give the final instructions to my dealer as to which color to paint the interior of the hard top once the Jeep arrives. If the carpet is black, I'll stick with having the interior of the hard top shot in black, but if it's NOT, then I need to know what color it is so I can have the hard top match.

Thanks so much guys.

Could someone with a 2dr please just go out with a tape measure and check the width and depth of their 'cargo space ' for this guy? I'd be very interested in knowing as well.

Thanks

Hmm...The TJ is 12" deep at the floor (minus 2" for the latch) and 35" wide. Big difference....

Anyways, that's exactly what I wanted. God bless you all!!!!!
