Tube Doors that Dont Rattle
Looking to buy tube doors & like the Warrior or Body Armor ones. Anyone have experience with them. Heard some do rattle and wondered is these more expensive sets dont. Thanks.
I have the Rancho tube doors, I like them...
From what I have seen with tube doors is that the latch they use tends not to fit as tight as the stock door latch,,, what I had to do is get a medium stiff spring at the hardware ( about 1.5" long ) take a stainless washer that fits inside the spring and run a self tapping screw into the door just behind the inside door handle, ( in a spot that contacts the inside door jam )
The spring will keep tension on the door so it no longer rattles.... I have ran mine all last summer and have had no problems or rattling........

I have the OR-Fab tube doors. Plenty of adjustment on them--no rattling whatsoever. Great construction, welding and powdercoating, as well. I really like them in the summertime (Full disclosure: My Jeep will be featured in one of their upcoming ads, but that does not make me a paid sponsor.

I am waiting for a set of tube doors to arrive from Roughshod Offroad.
They look very well built, and the design was unique to me. I can't speak to they're rattleability, but they are heavy duty, and I expect them to have ample adjustability.
These appear to be much more robust then anything else I've seen on the market, so I'm confident they will not be prone to rattling.
I will post my findings when I have a chance to drive with them on, once the weather permits.
