Turn signal sensitivity
Does anyone else find the turn signal re-set on JKs to be waaaay too sensitive? On my 2014 JK, once the turn signal is engaged, it seems that almost any movement of the steering wheel deactivates it. For example, after I turn on the signal, jogging into the turn lane ends of canceling it.
I've never had a vehicle with such touchy signals. Any one else find this annoying? I doubt there's a fix but if there is please enlighten me.

I get this too. It happens at the same type of intersections. Sometimes I'll crank the wheel over in the opposite direction, put the signal on and then turn it back to get a couple clicks into the steering wheel/turn signal ratchet thing. Sometimes I'll just keep clicking the signal angrily over and over every time it shuts off
My '08's turn signals sometimes turn off themselves (without turning the steering wheel) when it is super cold...it's like they aren't fully engaged. Or maybe it's just the cheap materials used. At least they work right in the summer.

I have this problem on my 14. It is also quite stiff to engage. I already had it replaced under warranty and it seemed to engage easier at first but was not long before it went back to being difficult to engage. I also experience the signal cancellation when pulling into a turn lane or making small adjustments with the steering wheel. This is the only vehicle I have ever experienced this problem with. Perhaps I'll go to the local dealer and take a test drive in a new jeep to see if those have the same issue.

TK, really this is 100% normal, I bought TWO NEW JK models, a 2012 JKU and now a 2016 Willys two door. And yes, it takes hardly any movement on the steering wheel to turn these off. If you turn them on, any little left or right movement will kick them off. Nothing is wrong, they are very sensitive. Don't waste your time on this, it is normal. And I agree, it's a pain. I've learned if I need to make a turn on even a small bend coming to a stop sign, I wait till I stop and the turn my signal on..Actually it happens when you let's say you bear to the right, the bear to the left coming to a stop. It's sensitive. Normal Bro!
Mine became ridiculously sensitive after about 3 years. Turns out a plastic piece broke inside it.
The dealership replaced the entire turn signal arm. I have a lifetime warranty with a $100 deductible. So it only cost me 100 bucks. I don't remember the actual price.
