Default Turn signal warning

Got this warning this morning. Haven't had a new vehicle since 2001 so maybe this is common. I'm glad jeep put it there because it saved me a ticket!

Happened to me while installing truck lites . When I put the grill back on I forgot to plug my signal lites back in. Just check to make sure your turn signal lights are properly connected under front fenders

It's my rear signal not my
Front. The brake lights still working but the turn signal doesn't work. Also I have a 2012 so I'm sure this is for 12-13-14 models

Something isn't right here.
The turn signal and the brake light are the same filament in the bulb. They also share the same wire all the way from the TIPM to the light socket.
A problem in the TIPM is more likely.

Afterthought:
Maybe the 2012+ is different from earlier models.

Yeah, need clarification from the OP if "brake light" means the rear marker filament when the running lights are on, or if it's the brighter, stop lamp/signal filament, as those operate off the same filament.

I just wait for the ticking to get faster and I know I've got a bulb out somewhere. Plus, if I miss it or decide to wait a few days and get pulled over, I've never actually gotten anything but a warning for it.

When I checked it this morning the running lights were on but the turn signal was not working. I was alone so I couldn't check the brake light function. I got out of work and started it. The warning light was still on and the turn signal was still not lighting up. I took the light housing off and wiggled some wires. Started it up and it was back to normal. I have no idea what is going on now.
