I have a 2008 Ruby with the U-Connect option. What do I do if I wanted to have it operational? Subscription?

You need to buy the external microphone, plug it into the port on the back of the mygig, and your calling functionality should work.

Every-time she takes a call she has to disconnect from it and use the phone regularly.

What are your experiences with this? I wanted some opinions before I make a formal complaint to the dealer... I dread taking it to them! (Bunch-a-goones ripping out my interior with no idea what they are after...)
My Droid X would never make the first call. It would work on the second. So I upgraded the Uconnect firmware and it got worse. Changed to an iPhone 5 and now it works perfectly.
