On the stock bumper there is also that other plastic guard under the bumper do you need that on because mine is hanging off and its a pain to put back on deciding if it actually does anything

Its it called the Air Dam....in a word...no you dont NEED it.

tear the thing off and replace it w/ a skid plate. mine came off the 1st time i went wheeling so i put the mopar skid on.

Mine's laying in the back right now, all I noticed was that hood popped a bit more than usual on the way to work.

Some have said it helps with mileage; but, I don't know. Mine was pulled off by driving reverse through a creek a few times. It was like a big scoop, scooping up water.
