I get 12-13around town, long highway trips 17-18. I did not buy and mod for mpg, my Harley gets 18mpg on highway.
I want to see more hybrids so they don't use all my fuel.

Lmao well I've been known to get speeding tickets often....but I usually get between 18 to 20 on highway but in town if I stay out of the accelerator I can get bout 14 mpg lol but I guess a light foot means saved dollhairs

It is really visible on the Jeep of when you get outside the manufacturer's optimum RPMs and such for mileage. I get @17 in and around town if I control my medical condition (gravitationally challenged in the right foot)

Yeah, with every other vehicle I've ever owned I'd get better much mileage at a steady 60 or 70MPH on the highway than I would at lower speeds. That's why I was so surprised to find that my JK used more gas at highway speeds (particularly over 65-70MPH) due to it's near-vertical windshield and brick-like shape causing so much drag. Mine's a stock 6-speed 2-door with 32" Silent Armors @ the tall 3.21 diff gearing so it's set up for decent mileage anyway, but I was still shocked to see my mileage go from 18MPG city to 24MPG highway at 55-60MPH, but then fall off back to 21-22MPG as soon as I pushed it that extra 10MPH to 70, and drop again to 19MPG & under if I took it over 75MPH. If there's any small hills or even slight inclines I get far better mileage shifting down to 5th, since in 6th at 1950RPM @ 70MPH the motor's struggling to produce any usable torque to combat all that drag just on the flat surfaces, never mind any inclines.
Seems the sweet spot for these things is around 50MPH; during my daily commute there is a section of smooth, flat motorway with a camera-enforced 50MPH limit & if I sit in 6th gear at 1000RPM just feathering the throttle I can even push it up to 26MPG for that section as the motor's basically at idle & pulling high manifold pressure so it's barely using any gas, & drag hasn't really started to come into the equation yet.
