When we are having our shutdown over Christmas gonna get under it and tack it all back into place instead of just bending parts out a little. The first two were under the hood on each side, now it is underneath the body.

I tried to have it covered under the lifetime, they shot that down and offered to replace the exhaust (with shielding) for $1,500

I'm in an apartment, but my buddy has a 3 car garage and a full weld shop in the third bay, an hour climbing around underneath followed by a few and it'll be all good again.
Did you ever figure out what this was? I've got the same issue.

Heat shield!

Check the heatshield which covers the exhaust as it goes back sideways, parallel to the transmission crossmember.
I'll bet $20 that your shield has a tiny little crack where the pos tackweld has separated from the exhaust pipe.

That's where the rattle noise comes from when you get to 2500-3000 rpm.

My 2010 started doing this one day. It turned out being debris in the skid plates. I'm sure you all have checked this out, but some times it something simple as that. It started rattling like hell just as you described. Finally a buddy climbed under neath while I hit the gas and noticed it was gravel and dried mud rattling in the skid plates. Hope yall figure it out.

Omg this was driving me nuts for months. Finally identified the culprit. Broken weld on the exhaust right under the passenger seat. $.99 hose clamp, problem solved.
