Default Visor Sticker Removal

I still have some tacky shiny residue from the bright yellow stickers that were on the visors. I've tried Goo Gone, Greased Lightening, and WD-40 with mixed success. Any other home remedies?

best way ive found to get off that residue is to actually just use some good ole elbow grease. Get your thumb and put solid pressure on it and rub it back and forth good till it gets nice and warm and it will roll up into little balls that you can just pull off. Thats how i got all the visor residue off, and the really bad residue that i had on the side when i took my trail rated badge stuff off.

WD-40 is actually great to remove sticky residue. The only downside is that you have to clean off the WD-40 after you use it.
I know there's something better but I just can't remember....Oh yeah, Fire.

Try Sticker Off. It works great.

Yeah, the Goo Gone doesn't do much on it's own-- but combined with ericdewayne's thumb pressure technique you should be able to get most of it off.

But how will you know about the important airbag information if you take them off?

I just used the label itself, to pull the residue off. I pulled most of it off, and put the label over what was left...rubbed it back on, then yanked it off, after a few times, it was all gone.

Now if you roll or set an airbag off, you can sue yourself.

I wish I had the b*lls to cut the ones off my mattress. I keep expecting that mattress cop to knock on my door any day now !

I am glad mine pulled right off and left no residue. My Murano had the regular soft cloth cushy sun visors and it was fused to the material. No way to take it off!
