Visor Sticker Removal
You guys are gonna think I'm crazy ....
BUT!
Have you tried PEANUT BUTTER?? It's oily base helps loosen the sticky residue and the gritty texture grinds it away. We use to use it to remove duct-tape residue off store keosks when installing them (it was someones great idea to tie them together with duct-tape because I guess rope is just too tricky). And on the plus side... you get that wonderful smell of JIF in your ride.
WARNING : Don't use Skippy manufactured in late 06. There are reports of tainted jars!! hahaha.
BTW> I'm serious. It really works. Use creamy.

Really, peanut butter? I'm gonna try it on something... I know it gets gum out of hair, but I never thought of it for anything else. Sounds like it could work.
I usually use the WD-40, but sometimes it takes a while to get used to the smell until it subsides... But I like the smell of peanut butter. And then maybe my dogs will detail the interior, or maybe just eat the visors. I may have to give it some thought......

My Z has this, but fortunately someone was making overlays for them... of course the doublesided tape only worked a until the first heatwave, then ya end up using superglue, which almost ruined the visors. Nice to know you can rip em off a JK. :toung:
I decided to try the same thing I did on my tj and pulled them off their rods to exchange them so the sticker was facing up. DON'T DO THIS! About two hours later and much frustration I finally ended up putting metal into the ends of the rod (they were hollow) and sharpening them into a point and pounding them in I got them back in. Just thought I would post this so no one else would try it and make the same mistake.
