Default Warranty repair car rental

I'm taking my 09 JKU for a warranty repair tomorrow and I was wondering if I should expect to receive a rental from the dealership for the duration that my rig is in the shop... Any insight is greatly appreciated.

If you bought an extended warranty, they will give you a car. If you do not have an extended warranty, it is at the discretion of the dealership and most do not give a rental.

I asked if my dealership would provide a rental before I took it in to get my gas tank replaced, they said they could but it would be on my dime, otherwise I would need a ride.

Ha ha. Is this a joke? Its a Chrysler. Don't be surprised if they try to charge you for the warranty repair.

Let us know how your dealer experience is. Most are horrific.

I got a rental when my rear main seal went out, and then again when the short block was replaced. Otherwise, I had to hitch rides.

Well it's going in for some paint fading/chipping along the hood hinges and to my surprise they are going to cover it. On the other hand my service advisor said that they would not be able to provide me with a rental...

When the wifes 07 JKU was in the shop for a couple three days for an electrical problem, the dealership repaired it under warranty and provided her with a new Liberty to drive until it was repaired.
Guess it depends on your dealership and how long they're going to have your vehicle.
