Nope when I restarted it was fine

I have had the same problem out of my 09 5k miles on it. I have also noticed that it has a hard time slowing the engine down when changing gears. I have treid to change shift points etc.

I really notice the stall issue off road in a torque situation or when I let off the gas and then attempt to reaccel. At times it will come to a complete halt as it tries to correct itself.

Sometimes this Jeep really makes me want my 03 Rubicon back

I have 3.21 gears and 33's do you think that might have something to do with it?

Mine does has done the same thing 4 times in the 9 months I've owned my JK. Usually in 2nd and almost lugging it slow in parking lot or super slow speed turn. Step on clutch and gas but still runs like crap and shuts down. Hard to start and runs like crap after too. Will check my spark plugs this weekend. I HATE fly by wire crap.

Mine did it today and Ive only had it for a week. I was waiting at a light, the clutch was all the way in, and all of a sudden it started sputtering a little. I didnt give it any gas, I wanted to see if it would stall - it didnt, recovered on its own. But talk about a confidence builder!

Mine did the same things that all of you are describing. Almost to the point that I was going to go get my TJ back and take it back to the dealer. I installed the new flashpaq program from superchips and it all went a away. It has something to do with the way that the gas pedal is programmed from the factory. Buy a falshpaq download the newest update from the website installed the superchips tuned pedal program in the flashpaq and it will all just magically go away. Best $300 buck I ever spent........best mod I have ever done to a jeep period.

check you battery, My dad had a similar problem and the JK just finally quit on him. the battery was bad and only held 9 vlts. And when he had his stalling problem at first there was not enough volt to keep it going so the computer would reboot on him. he had been dealing with this for a couple of month and then finally the battery crapped out, so I would check that First

I just can't duplicate it when I went to the dealership but one of the mechanics knew what I was talking about but he just said to restart the engine.

I think this has mostly to do with the drive-by-wire(DBW) system. I can usually duplicate it on a hill or if I'm idling through a parking garage, if I just barely tap the gas and come immediately back off it goes crazy.

It will usually catch itself and start idling like it should, but there have been a few times where it just didn't seem like it was going to quit which I would have to just shut the Jeep off and just restart it.

Just my .02
