Some of the issues you (the OP) have are caused by the very bumpy roads you drive on (that you mentioned in the other thread on tailgate hinges) as with the solid axles and very positive springing the JK (particularly the lighter 2-door) does tend to shake itself to pieces on bumpy or corrugated roads and after 3 or so years of this as in your case yeah, you'll have to replace some of the suspension components and bushings (goes for any make of vehicle with a similar set-up); they just don't make 'em like they used to (remember when suspension bushings were brass, not plastic?).

I pretty much agree with you on the point that they just don't make them like they used to...

The Jk can go out and do things on trails that make all the other Jeep owners jealous. Just today I went out and did a run where there was a guy with a CJ5 with lockers front and rear and he had kept telling me there were some spots where I would not be able to make it. Well I followed him up everything he could find and he was the one having the trouble and having to backup and try again. My little JK X just kept on going up and over everything he could find. In the end he just shook his head and couldn't beleive what he had just witnessed, kept aksing me if I was sure I didn't have lockers in mine. All I had done was disconnect my fron swaybar as usuall, I hadn't even aired down....run 24 psi all the time.

Off road I've been very happy with it with the exeption of the tall gears but I have a buddy with a cj7 that shakes his head in disbeleif too.. I don't beat on it so I just get aggravated that you spend $24000 on something you would think it would last longer but it's been my my experience all new cars are pretty much crap..
