Well...it didn't exactly DIE...but it had an out-of-body experience. I picked up some dry cleaning yesterday and was driving home...40 mph. I slowed down, made a right turn into my subdivision, and then after a few yards the VEHICLE just shut down: no engine, pb, ps...nada.

It didn't stumble, cough or choke. No MIL.

I coasted to the curb, put the VEHICLE in Park, and it re-started without incident.

Drove it home, put my code reader on it. Nothing current or pending.

I re-fueled shortly after the incident and pumped 17g. But that still left 5.5g in the tank, so I doubt it was fuel-starved.

Waddaya think? Thanks all.

I was test driving a 2011 automatic, and it stalled on me when I was coasting up to a stop sign. No idea what caused it. It's rare, but I've heard of automatics stalling.

Yes I've had this happen three times, not on the highway, not urging medium intensity wheeling but no, driving along in parking lots at fairly low speed with medium throttle

It's just like someone cut the throttle on me!

I've got a 2012 2 door sport s with less than 4,000 miles on it

No lights came on warning about anything and each time it started right back up...

Matthew
