I'm selling my TJ and looking for a JK Unlimited. Are there any threads around here on what to look for in a JK?

I'd focus on something that has not been modified if I were you. Don't take on someone else's issues. Start from scratch. I'd suggest keeping it '13 and up. They all have the same common issues. Radiators and oil coolers are the big things. No big deal for DIY'ers. Oh, and these things are rust buckets, so concentrate on things from the south or desert areas.

 

Interesting. Did not know that. I just moved a '15 JK to South Florida so that's a concern. I'll need to research rust-proofing treatments.

 

He's moving up from a TJ, he should know all about rust buckets!
