What RPM range should I be shifting?

Yep, as everyone else has said, above 2500RPM. The Jk's 3.8L V6 doesn't really start to make power & torque untill well after 2000RPM so short-shifting will result in you taking longer to pick up speed and use more gas as a result.

You got that right. You ever accidently put it in 4th or 5th to early trying to get on the interstate?! You feel like you almost stop dead on the ramp.

I'm pretty much the same as everyone. Around town its around 2300 at the earliest. Getting on the interstate I let it push 3500. I can't figure out a cruising rpm though. 5th gives me about 2600 and 6th gives me around 2000 or a touch over at 65-70. I usually let it cruise in 5th with 3.21s and stock 32s so around 2500 plus or minus 200. Anybody do anything different?
