Hello newbie! You just asked the most common newbie question a newbie can ask...

Your best bet would be 33" tires. With wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels with a correct offset.

35s are doable with trimmed flairs although, I wouldnt do any wheeling unless you want to rip your fenders off.

Thanks budro! I could definitely wheel with no problems with though, right? I'm pretty eager to get into hardcore Jeep'n. But for now... I'm the student, and you all are my teachers.

Would that be a true 33" tire? Most tires today run small.I'd say go with a 35" since most measure anywhere from 33-1/2-34"

stock 16" steelies are only 7" wide with 6.25" backspacing so that limits tire size. I would say 265/75-16 (~32") would be a safe bet without doing anything else.

Default tires

On my 08 2 dr. I'm running Toyo AT 285/75/16 stock steel wheels, with 1.5 spidertrac spacers with no problem for 3 yrs.
