Hello,

What is the function of the thin black plastic lines that run along side with the brake lines in the front behind the wheels?

Do they work with the ASB or vacuum booster or something?

Thanks

I think you're describing the ABS lines. You should see them running to the speed sensors at the hubs up front.

Yes, they follow the brake lines from somewhere in the engine compartment down to the caliper where the brake line connects, then the line in question goes past the caliper to the front and plugs in somewhere.

What is in the line, is it just air for vaccum?

What would happen if one of these line brakes?

Yes, simple 2-wire, if I recall. If you brake that you'll throw an ABS code as the system loses contact with the speed sensor.
