I'm looking at a 2010 sahara with 42,000 miles loaded, but then I was looking around at 2012 around sport models and they have around 20,000 miles , I really like the new interior, and the 3.6 engine.

please help me I need another opinion.

 

I would go for the '12 and get the new engine. I'm not a fan of the color match on the Saharas but that's just me.

 

I'm not sure about the best "value", but I think you answered your own question. If you really like the new engine and the new interior, you may regret not getting the 12. Several JKU owner friends of mine all went out and got 2012's after some test drives. No matter what you choose, you'll get a vehicle that can you can wheel, take the top off, and leave the doors at home. Can't beat that...

 

I would definitely go with the 2012. The new drivetrain is a big improvement in my opinion.

 

I would trade my '08 JKU Sahara for a '12 JKU Sport anyday.

New motor and interior totally make it worth it.
