Default Wheel spacers?

Hi,

I do alot of highway driving so I'm keeping the Bridgestone tires that came stock but I just want some different rimms. I got 18" no if I get a 18 rim do I need spacers?

Just get new wheels with 4.5" of back spaceing or less. And you will probably never have to worry about spacers again.

If your going to buy the new wheels. You want to go less than stock. Otherwise, one day you may be needing spacers to go with your new wheels.

4.5" is kinda the starting point for "most" applications. So unless you plan on going off the deep end later, then your good to go.

You could just paint your rims to get a new look. And now is a good time to consider your long term wheel and tire plans, not just the next set, but 2 or 3 sets in the future. If your thinking of 35's, in a 18" rim: the price ranges $300~$400 or more. But in a 15" rim, prices are $200~$300. Future planning could save you thousands.

I ran Cooper STT 275x70x18 skinny 33s for 3 years and 90,000 miles. I did lose 1mpg from stock due to rolling resistance, but gained so much when I hit the trails.

Thing for me is.. Don't laugh to hard here lol I just turned 30,000 km that's half my warranty yesterday.. Iv had my jeep for 6 months 3 days. The closest my jeep has come to offloading is driving down a gravel road lol I spend 2 hours a day driving back n fourth to work. Some days it's 4 hours... I just figured keep the bridgestones cause there good on the highways n that way I can just get nicer rims
