Default Where in the crap is this squeek coming from?

I'm currently running without doors and top. I'm hearing an annoying squeek at low speed. I'm not saying it's not there at higher speeds, I just can't hear it. It's coming from the driver's side rear. I tried standing on the bumper and side step, bouncing up and down, and can't duplicate it. It's only when rolling. Where do I start? I'm about to claw my eyeballs out.

Thanks

I don't have a clue what it is, but sounds like the same thing I have. I have shaken the shit out of my jeep and wd-40ed EVERYTHING that moves!

Mine also developed an annoying squeak recently...it was driving me nuts and I couldn't duplicate the squeak while parked, only when driving. Well come to find out it was my passenger rear fender flare. Evidently some of those plastic rivets were loose and causing it to rub against the frame.

Not sure if this is what is happening with yours but something to check. Good luck....I hate squeaks that I cant find!!

Try grabbing the back tire and moving the jeep side to side with it. I recently helped a friend find a bad rattle outside that ended up being his aftermarket rock rails rubbing on the factory rubicon rails. Added padding. Anyway I couldn't duplicate it moving it up and down but side to side I could and then was able to find it.

I feel pretty dumb, but that's a good idea

I see in your sig that you have an XHD front bumper. Do you by chance have an XHD rear bumper? I do, and recently discovered that the passenger side bracket has been rubbing on the bottom of the tub. It was driving me nuts until I found it.

Good luck!
