Yeah, i was going to say the same... I thought i was "winning" with 80k on my 2011. Makes me feel better to know someone else's will die first

Clock-spring failed.

Hardtop leaks.

Clutch throwout bearing failed. Dealer never fixed completely.

Balljoints on the way out.

I hate smittybilt.

With every new mod comes a new squeak or a difference in feel when driving. I've just accepted it as the way it is. I'm so far gone from the factory feel and sound, and I'm nowhere near as modded as some in here.

Early 2008 - 48k miles.

Blown Rear gears, new differential carrier, rear brakes (fronts are totally fine), TOB, clutch, brake line shield, new windshield, new shifter assy, new PCV, new shocks, steering stabilizer, go through a quart of oil every 2000 miles.

But, both my hard top and soft top have never leaked

I change oil religiously every 5k miles with mobile1 and rotate tires, recheck torque setting at the same time. New air filters every 10k miles.

It's been a great jeep. I love it. It certainly requires a bit more maintenance than a typical SUV! But, it does so much more than a typical SUV

2011 23,700. Change oil every 3k rotate tires every 5k.

Third gear makes a grinding noise for the last 10k but still drives normal an no problems. Leaky soft top. It make squeaky nosies an chirping in the front back an well all over which I've looked all over an can't pin point but nothing has failed yet (fingers crossed). Clutch squeaks like crazy when pushed in an let out but still has good grab an feel almost sounds like it needs lubed. Has seen some trails but mostly pavement an it's my DD.

Other then it being slow an not very efficient on gas which I didn't buy it for that it's been good to me an I can't complain.

2012 JK Sport S 2 door automatic with soft top:
6,000 miles with no problems.
I only put 8K miles per year on mine so I change my oil every 4K miles at 6 month intervals with Mobil 1.

Had 40k miles on my 2011 with not a single trip to the dealer except for scheduled maintnenace and Jeep initiated recalls.

My 2012 has not even been back for anything, granted it only has 3000 miles.
