Weird, temp also fluctuates from 78 - 82 pretty quick. Sounds like a TIPM, that's the trouble with us that use our snorkels, electronics!!

if you can read this, my Jeep is broken....

I'm still running the low mount. How could a snorkel cause that though?

Never mind then I had mine up to the battery like 2 days after I put mine in. Almost looks like an intermittent short to the ignition coil. Weird how it runs perfect then hiccups

if you can read this, my Jeep is broken....

Find out if they will reinstall yours, and not charge you for the new one, if the new TIPM doesn't fix it.

I read a thread on here where a guy bought the tipm from dealer (vin specific) for $250 installed it himself. The only trick was after it is installed you have to turn the key on for 12 seconds, turn it off then good to go. Just an option for ya I think he made a write-up on it

if you can read this, my Jeep is broken....

That is a cheaper option, although I'll bet the TIPM price has gone up.
It is possible to have the TIPM program itself at home, but it doesn't always work, in which case, the Jeep has to be towed to the dealer so they can force the programming into it.

Called it. Lol. I've had TIPM problems. Not fun. Problem is that chrysler admits it's their fault but will do nothing about it until a recall or extended warranty is issued. I traded my jeep in to fix mine. My dealership quoted me 3 hours work (it takes 30 mins tops, I've done it) and almost $600 for a $300 part (all days online). So $1019 was my quote. I said f u and traded it in. Now I'm debating whether or not to buy another vehicle from a manufacturer who doesn't support its brand or value customer service and loyalty. Oh and the part is on a nationwide backorder because it is such a major issue.

You called it after how many guesses??? Lol.... by the way since you don't drive a jeep these days(correct?) curious what are you driving? Why did you get rid of your jeep in the first place?
