Thanks for the info. That's pretty much exactly what the shop told me when I called them. They will be her tomorrow(monday) to pull it out, hopefully it'll be that 20%!!!

As per your suggestion, I am just going to have them tape off the 2 stickers that are on the driver's side door jam.

 

I saw your pics- your teardown is the proper way to repaint it. Good luck....
