Default Winterization tips?

Well, it's time, I'm about to enter my first Winnipeg winter with my JK and that guarantees me a few things:
Balls cold temperatures! (-20 to -30 Celsius routinely)
A good amount of snow.
And some good ole icy roads.

I'm slated to go in for an oil change soon and was just curious as to whether anyone had any tips or suggestions to help me keep my Jeep, and myself happy and issue free in these conditions.

Thanks jeepers

The 5w20 should be light enough, I'm thinking about making the swap to synthetic since I'm at just under 10000km. If I ever bought a vehicle without a block heater with the winters we have I think I'd deserve a kick in the teeth never mind starting issues.

I'm waiting until I get some new wheels and tires next summer so I can throw them on the stocks! I survived a last winter (somehow) with front wheel drive, no traction control and no ABS so I'm fairly confident I won't be too worse for wear with the stock Wrangler SR/As

When I do go for a set of winters any recommendations?

Goodyear Duratracs. This will be my first winter with them, but the have been awesome in the rain and are snow rated. Also you should look into something called Fluid Film. It is an Eco friendly lubricant and rust preventative. I just coated my entire undercarriage as well as any joints. It has an interesting smell, but nothing terrible. The product never dries and should last a year.

That's what I was going to go with when I hopefully throw new wheels on next summer. It would be a bonus if I could rock them year round. It's not the snow you have to worry about though it's the ice!
I had it under coated the week I got it! I looked at too many YJs and TJs that were rusted out when I was originally jeep shopping to even think about letting that happen to mine!
