Nothing you can do about it now but in future you may want to put blue painter tape on the door. It’s cheap and it will prevent this from happening to you again.

X2 and for me the doors are heavy and I am vertically challenged so have to park next to the curb at my apt to even get them on!!! Yeah yeah don't laugh too hard. Only reason I put them on is because of the bad part of town I work in

Won't help now, but something to consider for the future: Many of us are running without those nuts on the door hinges.

I use a handy vinyl magnet the Harley sent me a few years ago. Stick it on and no contact between tools and paint. Then I stick it on my toolbox for the next time.

Brilliant!!! Tho once those came off I saw no need to put them back.

The first one is the hardest no matter what vehicle it is. If you're going to drive it, it's going to get scratched or knicked or something.
