Default X Wheel Width

Does anyone know what the stock rim width is on the X model S package with 16" rims?

I didn't pay enough attention at the options and thought that I didn't want to pay $275 for bigger rims no realizing they came with bigger tires. I like the way the stock rims look and would like to wrap some bigger rubber on there, although they may need so spacers.

I'm thinking about getting these on the stock rims with a 2" BB, but not sure which to do first. Any thoughts?

I believe they are 7.5 inches wide. I'm looking at the Kumho MTs for mine (when it finally gets in), post pics when you get yours.

Does anyone think I'd have problems running 285/75R16s? They're only about an inch and a half wider.

I plan to run 285/75-16 BFG ATs on the stock steels as well.
I know several people running 12.50in wide tires on 8in rims for good bead retention at lower air pressures.
Hopefully these 11.2in tires will work the same on a 7in rim.
Keeps the cost down for now until more rim options are out.

Installs next week so I'll let you know first hand.

I ran 12.5 wide tires on my TJ for 3 years. Daily driver and offroad. Watch the tread section as you air up, it will arch if inflated to recommended PSI and wear unevenly. I aired mine up to 30 (35 recommended) and rotated routinely. No problems. Just remember not to air up to recommended PSI.

You guys wanting the 285/75/r16 will be fine with daily driving. You will want at least the 2" BB lift, or you'll rub when off road & "stretching you legs".

I do plan on putting a lift on it, but one step at a time to help the wallet a little bit. Are wheel spacers going to be needed?
