37's for street, but 35's for trail. And cuz its a 2 door get aftermarket fenders so you dont have to lift it so high. Thats my opinion!

i run 37's with 4" lift and 1" BL and flat fenders. Depending on how much and how hard you wheel you could run 37's on a D30, but I dont recommend it at all...My front 44 is all gusseted up to make sure...and who knows how long that will even last.

I would say go with 37s.

Several of the drivers on the "Ultimate Adventure" had run 37s on D30 front, re-inforced with a Super D30 kit. Could also look at Dynatrac ProRock 44......will cost a few bucks.

I would look on ebay/Kijiji (or through a local clb) for someone selling a D44 after they upgrade to a D60. My buddy Alex did that for his Rubicon TJ axles and often these are built up.

what ever you do, with 4inch lift on a 2dr, you will need drive shafts..

I am not saying this is the way to go, but my 2 cents for the money I would rather buy a D44 front. Your D30 will be stronger than stock, but 3.73 gears and 37s will not be great in an automatic and the 6spd only is slightly better.

It is a lot money to put into your jeep. You have to decide on how much you go 4wheelin and how "hardcore" these trips are. Most trails have bypasses for the difficult obstacles. I have had a lot of fun on my 35s (I still wheel on the 35s in the winter.....too much tread left to go and buy a fourth set of tires) before I went bigger. 37s is a big step up for stock axles to handle, in addition to driveshafts and gearing there is also steering, axletube strength and extra unsprung weight to consider.

There will be posts of people claiming they have not had any issues just wheeling the stock axles. I believe that it is only a matter of time until something breaks.

its a head scratcher for sure. I am sleeving my D44 front and adding a truss front (C-gussets of course) and rear, RCV front axleshaft, Chromo rear axleshafts for extra strength. I have not decided on gearing yet I have no issues in 4Lo with the 4:1 reduction yet.

From the for sale section:
I think this guy wants too much $$$$$, but these are good examples of what is out there.
