I will have some pictures posted sometime this week! Not a real hardcore trail...some rock to climb over....just extremely narrow and a very steep drop-off!!! I will be camping up there next time...lots of good area's to explore by foot as well as wheel!
Another from Edmonton here.
I've got wheeling day-trips planned for Nov. 8th and 15th, but my schedule is open after that. Anyone up for some light wheeling further into the future? (Light because I gotta keep the pavement princess in one piece!
)
Gordhunt: Up for showing some first-time jeepers where to find a nice trail in late November or early December?

Another Edmonton JK here, had the Jeep since February. I would definitely fall into that "first-time Jeeper" group. The last time I wheeled I was on my own and I got in way over my head. Luckily there was a guy with a 1/2 ton camping nearby to haul me out. I would love to do some wheeling with a couple of guys who know what they're doing.
Pics of what I managed to get myself into while wheeling in David Thompson...

Just a suggestion....next time have a little walk around the water/mud holes....poke a stick in it to see how slimy the mud is and have a little plan of attack before you cross. If you have any doubts you won't make it and don't have the right equipment to get unstuck...don't risk it.
We all learn these lessons....I know I have a few times....just time, age & big tow or repair bills has gotten me a little wiser for water & mud holes!
BTW....looks like time for tire upgrade and a lift and maybe a winch.

I think a winch should be the first responsible upgrade you should consider, you don't really need the lift nor tires to start off with but in this province a winch is a must IMHO... personally I won't wheel with anyone who doesn't have an appropriate (8000lb+) winch.
