I was trolling around the JK Forums a few days ago and came upon the Beautiful Scenes thread. I decided to pick out my favorite pictures and give you some advice on how to shoot using your camera. It doesn’t matter if it is your cell phone, a point-and-shoot, or a DSLR; you can make beautiful images to share with JK Forum, too!
Jeep introduced several prototype vehicles for the annual Easter Jeep Safari at Moab, UT. The Jeep Cherokee Dakar may not be a JK, but this is the most modified Cherokee out there, currently. While Mopar says the lift kit isn’t available, let’s see what could be done if someone were to brave a warranty void and create the ultimate “KL” chassis.
It’s time to catch up with Bill Craig (known as “DesertJeep” here on the forums). He’s the guy who drove the Fallen Heros Jeep for the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. Bill arrived in Moab on the night of April 13th with the Fallen Heroes Jeep. There were plans to repaint the JK, but those fell through and paint will be done when it gets back to Phoenix, Arizona.
We watched the 1784 Jeep Cherokee drive across the field in front of us, cutting the pit course of the Parker 425. We had assumed it was just a newbie who got lost or somebody desperate to get fuel. As I continued to watch, I realized more was going on. It turns out the driver shut off the truck to make sure he didn’t kill the fuel pump, but it failed to restart. To make matters worse, this wasn’t even his pit spot.
The AEV Brute is already an awesome package that gives Jeep Wrangler Four-Door owners the truck package they’ve always wanted. Now, if you’re the kind of person who wants some Land Rover-ish refinement, AEV steps up once again with the Filson Edition Brute.
Few places are considered harsher than the Australian Outback. The Australasian Safari is looked at as one of the toughest seven-day endurance races; it even rivals the Dakar Rally thanks to that improbable terrain. Team Lerner Reina set out with a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that was modified by American Expedition Vehicles. Let’s take a quick look into this amazing machine.
For 14 years, Road Race Motorsports and Rob Tallini have built amazing machinery from Fiats to Mitsubishis. While they are best known for their cars and Rob’s time in road racing, they have also built some amazing off-road vehicles. Now let’s take a look at what Road Race Motorsports can do with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
