As wild as it seems, it appears that meth dealers have a big thing for Jeeps.

Okay, so maybe that’s a bit extreme. But clearly there’s some crazy connection, because a few months after we reported about two guys getting busted using a Jeep as a makeshift meth lab, we’ve stumbled upon another story of a man and woman caught hauling $465,000 dollars worth of crystal stuff in a Wrangler.

According to a San Diego Union Tribune report, Border Patrol discovered 46 pounds of meth at a checkpoint after a drug-sniffing dog led them to the haul, which was hidden in a secret compartment under the Jeep.

Needless to say, the meth, the Wrangler, and its two occupants won’t be making it to their final destination.

The good news, however, is that if you’re a Jeep fan in the San Diego area, there’s likely going to be a 1995 Wrangler being auctioned for dirt cheap by the local authorities sometime soon.
