Havent read all the posts, but wonder if this counts. Husband, prior service long ago 3 yrs honorably discharged MP US army, and now we are proud AF parents (currently daughter and son-in-law both active duty Security Forces).

I transferred to the Fleet Reserve 10 years ago, so I'm officially retired now, as of 03/31/2008. I did 20 years as an Electronics Technician. At the time, I couldn't even spell it, then I were one. I served in San Diego, Long Beach, Ft, Gordon, Oslo, Norway, Virginia Beach/Norfolk, Holy Loch, Scotland, Groton, CT, and Sigonella, Sicily.

 

7 years 10 months 22 days active duty
3 years 3 months National Guard.

Spouse also military (got out in 2000)

 

10 1/2 years Navy as a MA1 (Dog Handler).

 

Current Air Force Rotc, commission on June 28, 2009 then its off to pilot school!!!

 

US ARMY Active Duty 4 years 19Delta Cavalry Scout 15 months in Iraq out the wire. Can't wait to get out (2 weeks left).

College, fishing, hunting, wheeling, parting my ass off like I'm sopose to.

Proud to serve- It's a hard life respect to those who stay in.

 

I'm a Rakkasan w/ 101 ABN sitting in Iraq, yet again!

 

Cdn Army Reserve Force, commissioned, 4 years in.

Adventure training specialist, military music instructor (pipes and drums) and army cadet instructor.

 

SGT (MP), 6 years in the reserves, just finishing a total of 26 months in country between the two deployments I've done. Had an 01' Wrangler had to sell. Can't wait to get home and get a brand new Rubi!!
