Yep. We caught so many of these things that my hand swelled after a couple days. I could hardly hold the rod.

Rainbow (~8lbs) caught fly fishing yesterday on the North Fork of the South Platte River in CO. We caught about 30 of these bad boys. This was one of the bigger ones. Unbelievable fishing.

I hired guides. They made the difference. I would never have fished this spot otherwise (private ranch--only one group a day allowed on the property).

A few questions......Where they hitting dry flys.....catch and release? Also....are these some kind of farm raised bows? And lastly.....I was curious as to the colorings of the fish.........meaning there aren't any??? I don't know if it was just the lighting or what but that fish looks very dull. Can only just barely make out the "rainbow"..........what's up with that? Of course a big bow is a big bow and a trophy for sure.... Just curious....
